Vivek Agnihotri, the director of The Kashmir Files, has spoken out about how Bollywood is full of humiliation and abuse. He even admitted that a lack of achievement leads to drug addiction. Vivek, a director, offered an ‘inside scoop’ about Bollywood, claiming that it is not just a hotspot of genius but also a cemetery of talent. He went on to suggest that celebrities who do not achieve the desired degree of success become trapped in the industry’s vicious loop of lack of wealth and power. These actors are therefore obliged to simulate it despite the fact that they do not have it.

The Kashmir Files filmmaker tweeted a lengthy piece about Bollywood’s dark secrets, claiming that “true Bollywood is located in its dark alleys.” He also said that shattered, crushed, buried, and other such things may be found in these dark lanes. He went on to say that it’s not about rejection since everyone understands that it’s part of the agreement. According to Vivek, it is humiliation and exploitation that demolish fragile aspirations, hopes, and convictions. People may survive without food but cannot live without respect and self-worth.

Vivek Agnihotri then discussed how failing celebrities wind up in a never-ending conflict. ‘Those who achieve some success but not a true success, turn to drugs, alcohol, and other life-damaging substances,’ he wrote. They now require funds. As a result, kids are exposed to a variety of strange money.’ ‘You have to dress like a celebrity, party like a star, PR like a star, but you aren’t a star,’ he said. Consider yourself in a gangsta slum where you must act like a gangster without the use of a gun or a knife.’

Vivek referred to this as a hollow race of affirmation, a black pit that becomes deeper with each race. ‘You show off, nobody sees,’ he said at the end of the message. Nobody hears you scream. Nobody cares if you weep. You are surrounded by individuals who are laughing at you. You bury your hopes. Quietly. But then you discover people dancing on your dreams’ grave. Their success becomes your failure. You’re a walking corpse. The irony is that no one can see you are dead but you. You literally die one day. And suddenly the rest of the world notices you.’

Anurag Kashyap was recently engaged in a verbal spat with Vivek Agnihotri. For the uninitiated, their fight began when Anurag mentioned India’s Oscar entry this year in an interview. He believes RRR should be nominated as India’s official contribution to the Oscars in the category of the best foreign feature film. He even stated that he hopes “The Kashmir Files” is not nominated. Anurag’s comment was met by a response from Vivek. On Twitter, Vivek replied to Anurag’s remark, writing, “He is launching a campaign against The Kashmir Files Oscar submission.”
