Nisha Rawal started her career as a model and appeared in various television advertisements for Sunsilk, Coca-Cola and Fem Bleach, etc. Apart from that, she has also worked in music videos. In 2001, she got her first acting role in the Doordarshan television serial Aane Wala Pal. Rawal is best known for playing the role of Soumya Diwan in TV serial Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki on Life OK. In 2012, she along with her husband Karan Mehra participated in Nach Baliye season 5. They also appeared in Nach Baliye Sriman v/s Srimati in 2013. In 2008, Rawal made her debut in Bollywood with the film Rafoo Chakkar. Her other movies are Hastey Hastey(2008), Jack N Jhol(2010), Tom Dick Harry Rock Again (2011). Nisha is a trained singer who took training from Pandit Sanjay Mishra.
