Ravi Kumar Dahiya Personal Life
Dahiya was born in 1997 to a farmer’s family in Haryana’s Sonipat district. Dahiya began training at an early age. For more than a decade, he was taught by Satpal Singh at the Chhatrasal Stadium in North Delhi, and his farmer father, Rakesh Dahiya, would go from his village to the stadium every day to provide milk and fruits to Rakesh, which were part of his wrestling diet. The 22-year-old wrestler earned a bronze medal in his maiden World Championships against Reza Atrinagharchi, the Asian Champion from Iran.
Ravi won a silver medal at the Junior World Championships in 2015, when she competed admirably.
During Senior Nationals in 2017, he injured his knee. He was chosen to compete in the competition’s semi-finals. Ravi had no sponsors because of his injury, so he was forced to rely on his well-wishers to help him recover. But he quickly recovered and made a miraculous recovery.
Ravi won a silver medal at the U-23 World Championships in Bucharest, Romania, in 2018. In addition, he placed second in the senior nationals. Ravi competed in the Senior Asian Championships despite his ankle ailment and came in fifth place.
